**Facilities Management and Services Support**

**ASnapshot of Your Day**

As a Facilities Management and Services Support, you will be workingdirectly with the Facility Manager to achieve the department goals in terms of day-to-dayrepairs, projects, and the managements of contracts. Attending to buildingissues as they arise, conducting spot repairs, undertaking renovation projects,and managing external contractors when on-site. This is a hand-on position thatwill require a specific set of skills varying from cleaning, handy work,design, people management and most importantly, an eye for safety. As theFacilities Management and Services Support you will oversee incoming servicescontractors and ensuring they follow the Siemens in-house rules of access andsafety.

- Overseeall activities inside and outside the building, making sure that health andsafety standards are met and arranging for repairs when needed.
- Coming upwith and implementing new ideas to maximize the overall space efficiency andoutlook.
- Managingcontractors and ensuring they follow all rules and regulations.
- Attendingto facility issues and placing service calls as needed
- ManagingFacility inventory supplies and tools

- Capableof reading and understanding floorplans and design drawings
- Wellversed in Outlook, MS Office tools and able to learn new software
