Office Administrator/receptionist

We are currently seeking an individual with the following qualifications.
- Exceptional English oral and written communication skills, including strong spelling, grammar, and punctuation
- Can work well with others and communicate openly with staff and owner
- Maintaining and updating files and records
- Willing to take on a leadership role to make day to day business decisions
- Answering calls, taking messages, and redirecting calls
- Sorting and distributing incoming mail and preparing outgoing mail
- Using office equipment like facsimile machines, printers, photocopiers, and computers
- Organizing A/R and A/P daily activities
- Arranging appointments and managing calendars
- Organizing day to day operations with sales reps and customers
- Handling basic bookkeeping tasks like invoicing and issuing checks
- A good background in Accounting
- Excellent organizational skills, ability to prioritize, and comfortable working independently
- Must be committed to providing outstanding customer service and demonstrate strong interpersonal skills
- Strong attention to detail
- Proficient computer skills and ability to operate general office equipment
**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: $17.50-$19.00 per hour
Schedule:
- Day shift
- Monday to Friday
Ability to commute/relocate:
- Richmond Hill, ON L4B 1M6: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (preferred)
**Education**:
- Secondary School (preferred)
**Experience**:
- Front desk: 3 years (required)
- Administrative experience: 3 years (required)
**Language**:
- Fluent English (required)
