NexgenRxprovides flexible, accessible full benefit administration and we are growing The Company is currently looking for an Administrative Clerk & Junior Claims Examiner to join the team. This is an **entry level position** for someone interested in an opportunity in group health claims adjudication.
- **Job Overview**:_
In this full-time role, there are two key responsibilities: 1) Overseeing mailroom operations and 2) the adjudication of basic group health claims. This is an entry level position.
- **Key Responsibilities**_
Provide timely and accurate mailroom support as follows:
- Open all mail received via omni channels, sort and prepare for distribution.
- Log claims received, sorted by type of claim (EHC, Dental, Predeterminations) and distribute between the Claims Adjudicators.
- Complete required Indexing of uploaded mailed claims.
- Prepare mailing of cheques, Explanation of Benefits (EOB’s) and Pre-Determinations. This includes mailing cheques, and preparing them for mailing.
- Print Letters and Drug Cards per client requests.
- Order supplies: Responsible for ensuring that there is an adequate supply of envelopes, letterhead, paper, etc.
- Adjudicate basic mobile and web-based claims.

- **Must have good verbal and written communication in English; French would be an asset.**:
- Minimum College diploma preferred
- Previously clerical experience
- Must be detail oriented, analytical and an excellent team player who demonstrates self-leadership and initiative.
- Dependable, productive and able to provide references that verify these qualities.
- Good facility with systems, computers.
- A professional approach to customer service.
- Good interpersonal skills, ability to work well in a team.
- Quick learner.
- Other required skills include: organization, ability to problem solve, multi-task issues, and good keyboarding skills.
- A self-leader with demonstrated initiative and eager to learn and grow in the role.
