**Job Ad: Administrative Clerk/Bookkeeping**

**Job Description**:
We are currently seeking an organized and detail-oriented Administrative Clerk/Bookkeeping professional to join our team. As the Administrative Clerk/Bookkeeping, you will play a vital role in supporting the smooth functioning of our organization. This position requires proficiency in bookkeeping tasks, general administrative duties, and excellent communication skills.

Wage: $38,000 to $42,000/year + Annual Bonus

Hours: 40 Hours / Week

Terms of Employment: Permanent, Full-time, Day

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Perform bookkeeping tasks using accounting software (e.g. Simply Accounting, Quick Books) to maintain accurate financial records.
- Handle financial statements, invoices, and assist in the preparation of reports and records.
- Answer the telephone system, screen calls, respond to inquiries, and relay messages efficiently.
- Greet individuals entering the office and direct them to the appropriate location following established procedures.
- Assist with admissions-related tasks and maintain an up-to-date school database using word, excel, and Google Drive.
- Process various records, including student records, transcripts, attendance sheets, and guardianship letters, adhering to Ministry's guidelines and regulations.
- Manage office operations by scheduling, copying, faxing, data entry, and filing.
- Coordinate the ordering of stationery, materials, and resources while ensuring adequate stock levels are maintained.
- Communicate effectively with parents, students, and vendors regarding administrative and bookkeeping matters.

**Requirements**:

- Education: Bachelor's degree or equivalent
- Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years of administrative support and bookkeeping experience.
- Proficiency in bookkeeping tasks using accounting software.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle tight deadlines.
- Prior experience in an educational setting is an advantage.
