Research Coordinator

**JOB CLASSIFICATION: Non-Union**

**DEPARTMENT**: Quality Management

**REPORTS TO**: Director of Quality Management

**POSITION PURPOSE**:
**QUALIFICATIONS**:

- **Bachelor’s degree in nursing (RN) health, or social sciences mandatory.**
- Experience in LTC, Geriatrics and working with disabilities.
- Proficiency in oral and written English.

**JOB DESCRIPTION: RESEARCH COORDINATOR**
- Plans and coordinates the initiation of the research study protocol and the establishment of operating policies and procedures.
- Helps in the Plans, implements, and maintains data collection and analysis systems in support of research protocol; may coordinate the collection and analysis of research data.
- Monitors the progress of research activities; develops and maintains records of research activities, and prepares periodic and ad hoc reports, as required.
- Helps in the distribution, collection, and explanation of the importance of surveys to get data which helps in the research.
- Provides training to the nursing, PSW about medication administration and the importance of tracking, documentation, and analysis of the incident report.
- Provides monthly reports including data collection, observation, audit, and invoice.
- Participates as an active member of the project committee to share ideas and provide feedback on the observation to help in the process of improvement.

**Start date of Contract**: September 5, 2023

**End date of contract**: 15thDecember 2023

**Hours of work per month**: 30 (thirty) per month.

**Days worked**: Flexible. This can be confirmed with the Director of Quality Management.

**Work location: Hybrid. **Remote work and as required on site at Glebe Centre, 77 Monk Street.

**Job Type**: Casual
