Position Description

Research Coordinator - Contract

**POSITION**:Temporary Independent Contractor Position

**DEPARTMENT**: Quality Management

**REPORTS TO**: Director of Quality Management

**POSITION PURPOSE**:
**QUALIFICATIONS**:

- Bachelor’s degree in nursing, health or social sciences.
- Experience in Long Term Care, Geriatrics, working with people with disabilities.
- Excellent oral and written English.

**RESEARCH COORDINATOR**
- Plans and coordinates the initiation of the research study protocol, and the establishment of operating policies and procedures.
- Helps in the Plans, implements, and maintains data collection and analysis systems in support of research protocol; may coordinate the collection and analysis of research data.
- Monitors the progress of research activities; develops and maintains records of research activities, and prepares periodic and ad hoc reports, as required.
- Helps in the distribution, collection, and explanation of the importance of surveys to get data which helps in the research.
- Provides training to the nursing, PSW about medication administration and the importance of tracking, documentation, and analysis of the incident report.
- Provides monthly reports including data collection, observation, audit and invoice.
- Participates as an active member of the project committee to share ideas and provide feedback on the observation to help in the process of improvement.

**Start Date**: Immediately

**Contract End Date**:December 31, 2023

**Work Hours**: Flexible Core working hours

**Location**: Hybrid - On Site at The Glebe Centre and Remote

**Job Type**: Fixed term contract
Contract length: 8 months

**Education**:

- Bachelor's Degree (preferred)
