WISE Trust was established to give the Workplace Safety and Insurance Board (WSIB) and the Ontario Compensation Employees’ Union (OCEU) an equal voice in the administration of the pension plan through a jointly sponsored pension plan. As the Pension Analyst, Employer Services, you will provide Employers with support and guidance to facilitate the administration of the Plan. You will ensure the delivery of timely and accurate information and contribute to pension data collection, reconciliation, analysis and reporting for decision making. Your role will involve simplifying complex information effectively and supporting in the educational training and engagement initiatives for the Employer.

**Position Requirements**:

- 3+ years of defined benefit pension plan administration experience.
- Post-secondary education in business administration, commerce, mathematics, accounting, finance, human resources, actuarial sciences, or other relevant area of study.
- Experience supporting Employers within a defined benefit pension plan.
- Experience with pension data including collection, validation, and reconciliation.
- Experience with processing terminations, retirements, deaths, transfers, buybacks, and pension estimates and calculations.
- Experience with report writing and reconciling data (i.e., contribution, payments).
- Professional communication skills (verbal and written) for dealing with members, service providers and employers, and documenting processes.
- Highly analytical and strong attention to detail; proven problem-solving and data analysis experience.
- Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office, specifically Excel.
- Foundation knowledge of pension plan administration and applicable provincial and federal legislation, including the Income Tax Act, Ontario Pension Benefits Act, and other legislation and guidelines related to pension plans.
- Strong time management and organizational skills that allow proactive issue resolution.
- Strong customer service and relationship-building skills.
- Ability to interpret data from a pension perspective.
- Ability to effectively multitask and prioritize tasks.
- Strong desire to learn and contribute with innovative ideas to improve processes and engagement initiatives.
- Embrace a culture of partnership and collaboration, with a dedication to service excellence.
- Strong initiative and ability to manage work independently.

**Employment Type**: This is a full-time, permanent position. While we are a remote organization, this role will involve in-person attendance as required and only applicants who have reliable transportation to Toronto, Ontario will be considered at this time.
