The Role

We're seeking a motivated service-driven leader with solid employer administrative experience and acumen. The ideal candidate has a proven background in managing a team of employer service representatives and is familiar with the employer obligations to provide accurate and timely member data to UPP.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Drive operational excellence and lead initiatives that support UPP in meeting its strategic goals.
  2. Manage special projects, continuously assess and optimize the service delivery model, and identify opportunities for improvement to meet the evolving needs of our employer administrators.
  3. Lead the Employer Services Team, providing technical support and ensuring high-quality service that meets UPP standards.
  4. Motivate and support your team to self-manage their work and achieve individual and corporate goals that maximize the member experience.
Qualifications & Experience
  1. A solid understanding of defined benefit plans and demonstrated success in a similar role.
  2. Bachelor's degree or an equivalent combination of education and experience, with strong experience in pension administration.
  3. Certified Employee Benefits Specialist (CEBS) or Pension Plan Administration Certificate (PPAC) an asset.
  4. Minimum of 5 years defined benefit plan administration required – experience must be hands-on across multiple facets of pension service delivery.
