The RoleWe're seeking a motivated service-driven leader with solid employer administrative experience and acumen. The ideal candidate has a proven background in managing a team of employer service representatives and is familiar with the employer obligations to provide accurate and timely member data to UPP.
Key Responsibilities- Drive operational excellence and lead initiatives that support UPP in meeting its strategic goals.
- Manage special projects, continuously assess and optimize the service delivery model, and identify opportunities for improvement to meet the evolving needs of our employer administrators.
- Lead the Employer Services Team, providing technical support and ensuring high-quality service that meets UPP standards.
- Motivate and support your team to self-manage their work and achieve individual and corporate goals that maximize the member experience.
- A solid understanding of defined benefit plans and demonstrated success in a similar role.
- Bachelor's degree or an equivalent combination of education and experience, with strong experience in pension administration.
- Certified Employee Benefits Specialist (CEBS) or Pension Plan Administration Certificate (PPAC) an asset.
- Minimum of 5 years defined benefit plan administration required – experience must be hands-on across multiple facets of pension service delivery.
