**Position Summary**
Utilizing expertise in veterinary care services, resource management, and operational excellence, the **Provincial Operations Manager, Clinical Services** will provide direction and leadership for all Ontario SPCA Veterinary clinics, mobile clinics and MASH clinic programming that serve communities across Ontario.
This is a full-time permanent role and remote based with regular travel through the province to support our clinic locations and attend mobile spay and neuter and wellness events.
**Job Accountabilities/Key Deliverables**
**Leadership**
- Represents Ontario SPCA as a knowledge expert for high-volume spay/neuter initiatives and services
- Leads and coaches a team of Veterinary Clinic Managers and a team of mobile animal care and medical professionals
- Builds a strong network of industry professionals in communities throughout the province
- Ensures a safe and respectful work environment for all staff, volunteers, and clients
**Veterinary Care**
- Ensures accurate records for animal inventory, health, medications, treatments, and procedures at clinic and mobile locations
- Makes suggestions to improve spay & neuter programming, animal care protocols and other activities to support the realization of our purpose
- In the event of vacancies or absences, fulfill the necessary duties to ensure the smooth operation of the veterinary clinics or mobile events
- Maintain and ensure standards of care for animals at veterinary clinics and mobile events are followed
**Operations**
- Oversees the operation of Ontario SPCA Spay/Neuter Clinics
- Creates and executes project plans for mobile and MASH clinics, including post-event analysis
- Builds annual budgets and submits regular operation reports
- Collaborates with the Veterinary Services Department to support policies and protocols
**Experience**
- Veterinary Technician (3 years)
- Minimum 5 years of multi-unit management experience
- Demonstrated project management or event planning experience
- 1-3 years of high-volume spay and neuter surgery experience
- Clean driving record accompanied by a full G License required
- Must have open availability including days, evenings, weekends, and holidays, and be able to travel overnight
- Must be able to lift up to 18 kilograms (40lbs) e.g. Large bag of cat litter
- Must be able to pull at least 45 kilograms (100 bs) e.g. Large dog on a leash
