**Position Summary**:
**Key Responsibilities**:

- Lead the development and implementation of strategic plans to advance unit priorities.
- Ensure the delivery of excellent patient care, maintaining respect for patient privacy and confidentiality.
- Provide leadership and motivate interprofessional teams, promoting ongoing professional development.
- Collaborate with physicians and organizational leaders to support clinical and organizational objectives.
- Manage quality improvement initiatives, ensuring the integrity of data and continuous improvement processes.
- Maintain a safe, healing environment in compliance with safety codes and standards.
- Support staff through conflict resolution, communication strategies, and change initiatives.
- Act as a clinical resource and role model, fostering an organizational culture aligned with our Vision, Mission, and Values.

**Qualifications**:

- Regulated Health Professional with a Bachelor's degree in Nursing/Health Discipline.
- Registration in good standing with a regulatory college.
- At least five years of patient care experience, with a minimum of three years in an Emergency Department setting.
- Completion of Basic and Advanced Cardiac Life Support courses (BCLS and ACLS).
- Proven leadership skills with experience in staff leadership preferred.
- Demonstrated experience in managing change and knowledge of relevant legislation and best practices.
- Strong decision-making, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Commitment to patient and family centered care and professional development.
- Proficiency in computer skills and electronic patient records.
