Clinical Practice Leader, Emergency Department Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled Clinical Practice Leader to join our Emergency Service team at Humber River Health.
Job DescriptionThe successful candidate will be responsible for consulting with the Program Director, Manager and staff regarding program needs. They will also model clinical skills excellence, promote the development of interdisciplinary teams, and facilitate the development of multidisciplinary standards of patient care.
- Needs assessment and program development
- Providing orientation and education for Emergency staff
- Developing continuing education programs to keep staff updated with new practices, skills and certifications
In addition, they will collect, analyze statistical activities and implement appropriate interventions on clinical areas, ensuring high-quality patient care.
RequirementsTo be considered for this role, candidates must have:
- Current RN registration with the College of Nurses of Ontario required
- BScN is required
- Masters degree in Nursing, Clinical focus required. Candidates who are actively pursuing their Masters will be considered.
- BCLS and ACLS certification required
- At least 5 years of recent experience in Emergency Nursing
