**JOB DESCRIPTION**:
OPERATIONS COORDINATOR

As part of the Operations Team the **Operations Coordinator **is responsible for supporting daily administrative tasks for logistics, customs & supply chain. This position will report into the Logistics Manager and may be assigned to specific duties and responsibilities as outlined within this job description depending on operational needs and circumstances including the incumbent’s skills and attributes. **Duties and Responsibilities**:

- Receive & submit shipping documents to customs on request (B13 assessments).
- File amendments to any discrepancies noted on paperwork submitted to customs.
- Pursue duty drawbacks from customs as necessary.
- Coordinate with customs brokers to ensure correct HS codes are being used.
- Update Ocean freight rates to the team & maintain records.
- Schedule Ocean freight shipments with our overseas team & freight-forwarders.
- Maintain a record of shipment bookings.
- Coordinate diversion requests with the carriers when required.
- Coordinate between factories, carriers & customers as necessary.
- Update container ETAs in our system based off reports provided by carriers & suppliers.
- Compile container ETA reports for the Biyork Team & 3PLs.
- Provide paperwork/packing slips to receiving departments as requested.
- Filing of shipping documents into system.
- Assist with freight-related reporting & analytics.
- Checking Sales Contract against Purchase Order.
- Process inventory transfer requests.
- Purchase order creation for replenishments from manufacturing
- Process inventory adjustment requests.
- Proactively assist other team members with their tasks to achieve team goals.
- Other duties as assigned

**Required Experience**:

- Post-secondary education or equivalent preferred.
- Some experience in filing customs documentation preferred.
- Experience working with an ERP system preferred.
- Previous experience working in a distribution, manufacturing or logistics environment preferred.
