**Summar**y:
We seek a highly motivated, organized, and ambitious Office Coordinator in our Markham Office to join our North American team This individual will support the admin team and Markham Office employees with various responsibilities across various business units and regions. This is a great learning opportunity with plenty of support to help you in the role.
**Responsibilities**:
The following is a list of the key job responsibilities for the Office Coordinator role. This list is not intended to be an exhaustive list of all duties, responsibilities or skills required.
- Support the HR team in general recruitment activities and coordination as required
- Assist in creating and editing HR content in communications, orientation, and presentations.
- Draft employment confirmation letters and respond in calls if needed.
- Office administration including, mailing, filing, business card orders, and supplies management.
- Social events planning for the office, sending out flowers and gifts as required. - Assist management with projects as needed
- Filing and record keeping with effective filing systems
- Supporting other teams with administrative tasks
- Handling office contracts of vendors/partners (Marriott, Hilton, Avis)
- Facilities and office equipment upkeep/maintenance and repairs
- Shipping and label creation
- Managing and booking conference rooms
- Ensuring smooth/ maximum efficiency of office operations
- Attending to general inquiries regarding office policies
- Organizing and coordinating office operations and procedures
- Backup for Markham Cheque deposits
**Skills and Requirements**:
- College or University degree
- 2-4 years of related work experience, preferably in a North American environment
- Strong Microsoft Office skills
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Ability to multi-task
- Highly developed interpersonal skills
- Good communication skills
- Creativity and self-motivation
- Strong sense of ownership in assigned projects and tasks
- Proactively seek feedback and take on new work
- Required to be in the office full-time, five days a week.
**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent, Casual
Pay: $45,000.00-$55,000.00 per year
