**About this opportunity**

Meridian Credit Union and its subsidiaries operate a Hybrid Vendor Management Program where the business unit receiving the service are the front line for third party risk management and are accountable for the day-to-day management of the service provider. The Vendor Management Office (VMO) provides the Vendor Management Program “the Program” and the Vendor Management System (VMS) that enables the business unit to effectively manage third-party risk and performance. The Vendor Management Program Specialist is a key contributor to the VMO’s purpose and transformation. This role will provide dedicated support to the business units, administer the program and the VMS.

**Is this role right for you? In this role, you will**:
Program Support
- Onboarding new vendors and contracts into the VMS ensuring accuracy and completeness
- Liaising between internal risk management teams and the business unit to review risk reporting
- Managing a portfolio of vendor’s third-party risk management due diligence
- Ad hoc reporting, regulatory request, and initiative support as needed

Program Administration
- Contributing to the ongoing maintenance of Program policies and procedures ensuring they algin with external regulation and are relevant to both the organization and external environment
- Analyzing both the VMS and the Accounts Payables systems to ensure data is up to date and complete
- Administering Vendor Management’s internal website and other Program communications

System Administration
- Administering the Vendor Management System, identifying gaps, and developing viable solutions
- Liaising between VMO, Internal Information Technology teams or external software vendors to maintain system and monitor progress
- Managing the system’s reporting dashboards, monitoring for accuracy, and identifying improvements
- Continuously reviewing system inputs for accuracy and completeness, identifying issues and working cross functionally to correct

**We’d Love to Work with You If You Have the following skills and abilities**:

- ** **3 - 5 years of relevant experience in a procurement or vendor management role is an asset
- Superior service and collaboration skills are required
- Intermediate Microsoft Office skills (Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint) is required
- Experience in a highly regulated environment, maintaining policies and procedures is an asset
- Software System Administration experience is an asset

**Office Location: 3330 Bloor Street West, Toronto OR 75 Corporate Park Drive, St. Catharines.**
