**Program Overview - Housing Access Partnerships & Tenant Support Services**

The Unit’s primary goal is to implement partnerships with the City of Toronto and other parties including private sector affordable housing providers on terms agreed to through access or housing tenanting plans/agreements. The Unit serves people with a range of needs including referral of moderate income applicants to affordable market housing and to help homeless people and those living on low-income secure housing in WoodGreen’s housing portfolio.

**What You Will Do**
- Assist the Director in negotiating and implementing partnerships with the City of Toronto and private sector affordable housing providers on terms agreed to through access or housing tenanting plans/agreements.
- Assist the Director in representing the activities of the Housing Access Partnerships& Tenant Support team with the City, Private Sector affordable housing partners, coalitions and other affordable housing access and partnership services.
- Carry out the management responsibilities for operating the housing partnership access & tenant support services program areas - including City and private sector providers - in planning, implementation and evaluation to ensure that the strategic priorities are addressed while achieving funder deliverables.
- Plan and implement outreach and promotional program to ensure awareness of programs and services by key stakeholders and service users.
- Build a strong connection with other internal WoodGreen units that serve homeless and vulnerable clients of WoodGreen Community Service.
- Collaborate with Housing staff to ensure timely tenanting of WoodGreen’s own internal housing stock.
- Manage staff through coaching, training, supervision and performance reviews in order to build a cohesive, collaborative and effective team.
- Operational oversight and training of program staff, including hiring and performance management of program and team.
- Completion of operational and budgetary content and timely submissions of funding reports to obtain renewal and new funding to the program with the guidance of the Director.
- Participate in Unit and overall WoodGreen management meetings for the purpose of ensuring coordinated and integrative programming, and resource sharing.
- Prepare and monitor program financial information and program budgets to ensure expenditures align with the organization’s administrative policies and procedures and delegated funding envelope.
- Represent and assume leadership roles as assigned on sector operational and housing access and partnerships advocacy committees and working groups.
- Ensure that the programs, organizational policies and procedures are carried out within all programs, services, and initiatives.
- Participate in the Unit’s management team, contributing to the development of the Unit’s Strategic Priorities and Annual Work plan deliverables.

**What You Bring to the Team**
- Bachelor Degree in relevant field with a combination of education and experience in managing staff and interagency or similar partnerships.
- 3+ years of related experience.
- Knowledge and experience in partnership management in a field related or similar to social service & a track record of delivering timely results.
- Experience managing Community and or Private sector partnerships.
