This job also offers the opportunity to work from home as part of a hybrid work arrangement. We are currently searching for a dedicated and passionate individual to join our family at Toronto Community Housing As a Business Planner, you’ll utilize your expertise and knowledge of research methods and statistical analysis to contribute to the ongoing efforts of Toronto Community Housing to improve the neighborhoods and lives of residents of Toronto.

Established in June 2020, TCHC’s Programs and Partnerships Team focuses on establishing and maintaining effective programs and partnerships to address the needs and the interests of TCHC tenants/communities. The office focuses on innovative approaches to address complex community issues. The team works with the Operational Teams to implement programs and partnerships through a “develop centrally, implement locally” approach.

Reporting to the Director, Program and Partnerships, the Business Planner is responsible for supporting the team’s division's strategic, operational and business planning processes by developing business plans, policies, procedures and standards using industry best practices. The incumbent will measure and analyze performance and empirical data for the Program and Partnerships team and ensure that the systems, practices and programs are achieving desired impact in TCHC communities and are aligned with values, policies, and corporate strategic plans.

**What you’ll do**

Planning
- Support the Division’s strategic planning processes
- Co-ordinate, documents and assist Divisional teams with the alignment of their work with that of other corporate divisions
- Co-ordinate and support the production of strategic plans
- Provide strategic planning expertise to Divisional Leadership Team
- Develop recommendations to improve business processes that supports a tenant centric delivery model
- Support Divisional teams by reviewing, assessing, developing and evaluating business processes and systems, as well as documenting and managing database requirements for the Division
- Develop reports, papers, briefing notes, and presentations for internal/external stakeholders, including TCH executives and the Board of Directors
- Support a reporting system that includes tenant related social-economic data and performance information on program delivery of engagement, partnerships, and community economic development.
- Consult and collaborate with other business units, front-line staff, residents, and executive leadership as appropriate to gain their feedback on content areas
- Provide project management expertise to others and leads projects

- Provide work direction to other management/exempt staff on a project by project basis.

Policy
- Support the Division’s annual business planning process, including the development of operational plans, budgets, performance measures
- Facilitate policy/procedure development ensuring input from appropriate stakeholders (e.g., residents, staff, management, other)
