You will work Monday to Friday as well as the occasional weekend for industry events, etc. Hours will be 9-5, but are flexible.
**Responsibilities**:
- Develop and maintain strong, long-lasting relationships with dispensaries, retailers, and other key accounts.
- Deepen and enhance existing relationships with retailers to maximize sales and partnership potential.
- Actively seek new business opportunities and partnerships to expand market presence.
- Educate clients on our product offerings, features, and benefits.
- Achieve and exceed sales targets through effective sales strategies and relationship building.
- Stay informed about industry trends, competitors, and market conditions.
- Collaborate with retailers to develop effective marketing and merchandising strategies for our products in their stores.
- Work closely with retail partners as a valued and trusted business partner to understand their unique needs and challenges.
- Resolve any issues or concerns of retail partners in a timely and professional manner.
- Provide excellent customer service and support to clients.
- Ensure compliance with all provincial and federal regulations in all sales and promotional activities.
- Attend industry events.
- Regularly report sales progress, challenges and market insights to management.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in cannabis sales or a related industry.
- Strong knowledge of cannabis products and the regulatory landscape.
- Proven track record of meeting and exceeding sales targets.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Self-motivated and able to work independently.
- Willingness to travel.
**Requirements**:
- Previous sales experience.
- Valid Class 5 drivers license and clean drivers abstract.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Ability to work a flexible schedule with occasional overnight travel.
- University or College degree considered an asset.
