About the Role

This is a highly rewarding opportunity to join a successful organization as a Territory Sales Representative for HVAC Mechanical Systems. Your primary responsibility will be to target, support, and build consultative relationships with HVAC contractors and end-user clients by strategically promoting exclusive equipment manufacturers.

  • You will identify and maximize opportunities by targeting project opportunities and clients across the defined territory within the BC market.
  • Perform product selections for engineers and design/build contractors.
  • Stay informed about industry and local codes, regulations, and market trends to ensure compliance and leverage opportunities.
  • Provide timely and accurate service to the contractor community.
  • Conduct regular visits to different contractor firms to maintain a strong presence in the contractor community.
Requirements

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • A minimum of 5 years' experience within the HVAC space with related mechanical equipment.
  • A thorough knowledge of mechanical products.
  • Post-secondary education (Degree or 2-year diploma) desired, but not required if industry experience is present within the HVAC sector.
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook & Internet Explorer.
  • Initiative to prospect for new business with a track record of success managing a key account book of business within a territory.
  • Possess the people skills to build relationships within the industry – networking is important.
