**Executive Assistant to the CEO**:
**The Opportunity**:
To help support our Company’s aggressive growth plan, we are seeking an Executive Assistant to the President & CEO. An individual who is a proficient organizer, a resourceful self-starter and a proven relationship builder. You will provide comprehensive support to the CEO and Board of Directors, manage the organization's office operations, support our communications & social media efforts and play an integral role in keeping our stakeholders informed and engaged.

The CEO directly leads business development activities and overseas the performance of operating assets, in addition to shaping the corporate strategy and shepherding the organization’s resources. As GRE is jointly owned by two of Ontario’s largest electric utilities, many corporate functions, including finance and accounting, are performed by external and affiliated organizations.

**What You Will Do**:

- **Supporting the CEO**:

- Provide administrative support including preparation of confidential correspondence and corporate reports, preparing agendas, and taking minutes. Ensure that meeting materials are available and action items are completed on a timely basis
- Prepare clear and concise presentations and short reports that simplify complex concepts and help illustrate the future of community-based energy projects for stakeholders
- Maintain the CEO’s calendar and schedule appointments and meetings based on priorities of issues and events, inclusive of preparing for events and presentations, booking of rooms, IT, catering and other logistics
- Research, prioritize, and follow up on incoming issues and concerns addressed to the CEO, including those of a sensitive or confidential nature. Determine appropriate course of action, referral, or response
- **Supporting the Board**:

- Responsible for managing timely and clear communication with the Board’s directors, director data/information requests, and organizing board meetings
- Collect, organize, edit and issue board reporting materials, including prior meeting minutes, CEO report, and supporting material
- **Supporting Communications**:

- Responsible for keeping shareholders and broader stakeholders engaged and informed, utilizing the website, social media and other communication channels and preparing, issuing and distributing press releases
- Organize and assist in facilitating events and presentations to stakeholders
- Enhance and manage GRE’s Social Media presence
- Collaborate with external vendors to enhance and update GRE’s website and collateral
