**Research and Events Coordinator**:
**Primary Purpose**:
To lead the coordination and implementation of events related to the Business Research Integration and Development Group at Edwards (BRIDGE) centre, including the communication of completed research projects and events.

**Nature of Work**:
This position reports to the Managing Director of the BRIDGE centre. Working closely with the Director, BRIDGE Centre, this role requires self-motivated and independent work to provide research coordination on a variety of projects. The position will effectively document, communicate, and follow up on assigned tasks and deliverables for research team members and our industry/community partners.

**Accountabilities**:

- Provide logistics support to conferences and symposia, including the Global Prairie Forum, bringing together industry experts and research, and support for all BRIDGE related events.
- Builds partnerships and collaborations with Saskatchewan Industry and the Edwards School of Business faculty.
- Develops knowledge translation materials, strategies, and related materials to encourage participation and support for research/centre related projects and activities.
- Liaise and manage projects between the BRIDGE centre, researchers, and industry/community partners to ensure partnership goals are met.
- Participate in regular team meetings.
- Maintain project documentation.
- Follow up on assigned tasks with team members and stakeholders.
- Effectively document, communicate, and track project milestones and deliverables.
- Plan team meetings and logistic planning for international research delegations and projects.
- Meet timelines and deliverables, including reporting and document development.
- Develop feedback loop to ensure effective communication of knowledge translation materials to all community partners.
- Develop Data Management Plans with researchers and industry/community partners.
- Effectively establish work scope, timelines, work plans, and accountabilities for self and team members to ensure quality and clarity of scope for projects.
- Other projects as required.

**Qualifications**:
**Education**:
Completion of a relevant undergraduate degree is required. A graduate degree is considered an asset.

**Experience**:
Minimum of five years or research coordination or events related experience is required. Proven track record with research coordination/project management, event planning, and administration. Understanding of research processes and team dynamics; understanding of qualitative, quantitative and/or mixed-methods analyses; experience with engagement and consultation with Saskatchewan industry, community, and international partners. Experience working in and with diverse populations and international environments preferred. Experience with journal publications an asset.
