Crown Lift Trucks Canada operates eight full-service branches in both Ontario and Quebec offering complete service solutions including maintenance programs, parts supply, and training.

**JOB PURPOSE AND OBJECTIVES**

**50-65% **_Employee Relations Representative_**

**10-15% **_Recruiting, Retention & Onboarding_**

Monitor branch recruiting and retention. Direct employment activities to ensure that properly qualified employees are recruited and hired. Oversee pre-employment screening processes. Develop strategies to attract and retain qualified employees. Monitor local wages and benefits and make recommendations. Visit schools and attend career fairs. Assist in the development and execution of onboarding and orientation programs.

**05-15%**_ Other Programs_**

Respond to Leave requests and other employee requests. Work closely with other departments on administering employee programs. Assist with special projects and perform other duties as assigned.

**05-10%**_ Branch Training and Development_**

Develop appropriate training programs and participate in training activities for current employees and new hires. Oversee the delivery of HR specific training programs at branch or regional locations. Participate in training managers, supervisors, and local HR contacts on HR processes. Coordinate training needs between local and corporate resources.

**05%**_ Branch Representative_**

Visit branch locations to review HR processes to ensure compliance. Make job description change recommendations.

**MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS**
- 2-4 years related experience
- Bachelor’s degree in HR or equivalent experience
- Must have valid driving privileges and a reliable vehicle
- CHRE, CHRL, or CHRP designation is an asset
- Frequent travel (6-20%),
- Occasional overnight stays (0-10%)
- Experience hiring in the automotive or heavy equipment industries is an asset, however it is not required
- Minimum of 1 year of recruiting experience, with experience working in HR teams an asset
- Proven relationship management experience with hiring teams and business partners, helping them navigate sources of talent and honing their assessment skills
- Knowledgeable in employment market trends

**PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS**

Per 8-hour shift, must be able to sit 4 hours, stand 2 hours, walk 2 hours, see, talk, and hear. Must be able to frequently keyboard and use a mouse. Must be able to occasionally lift/carry/push/pull up to 20 lbs., bend/stoop/twist, climb stairs, grip/grasp, and pinch/grip. Must be able to safely operate a vehicle.
