Special Projects Coordinator

We are seeking a dynamic and highly organized individual to join our team as a Special Projects Coordinator. This role will involve overseeing and coordinating various special projects within the company, working closely with multiple departments and stakeholders to ensure successful project delivery. **Key Responsibilities**:
- Coordinate and manage special projects from initiation to completion, ensuring adherence to timelines, budgets, and quality standards.
- Collaborate with department heads and project teams to define project scope, objectives, and deliverables.
- Manage inbound and outbound freight.
- Develop comprehensive project plans, including timelines, resource allocation, and risk assessment.
- Act as a central point of contact for all project-related communications and updates, ensuring effective information dissemination across all relevant teams.
- Monitor project progress and identify any issues or potential risks, implementing proactive solutions to keep projects on track.
- Maintain regular communication with all stakeholders, providing progress reports, addressing inquiries, and managing expectations.
- Supervise Staff, planning, organizing, and monitoring workflow to optimize the process and ensure compliance with Health and Safety regulations.
- Conduct post-project evaluations to review project outcomes, identify areas for improvement, and implement best practices for future projects.
- Stay updated on industry trends and best practices to continuously improve project management processes and methodologies.
**Qualifications**:
- College or higher education, or minimum of 2 years of experience in Project Management, Operations or Logistics.
- Ability to work on a flexible schedule weekdays and weekends. Minimum of 35 to 45 hours per week.
- Proven experience in project coordination or management, ideally within a fast-paced environment.
- Strong understanding of project management principles and methodologies, such as Agile or Six Sigma.
- Exceptional organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize and multitask effectively.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities, with a focus on building strong working relationships across teams and departments.
- Proficiency in project management software, tools and general warehouse apps.
- Analytical mindset with the ability to assess complex situations, identify key issues, and propose effective solutions.
- Proactive and adaptable approach to work, with the ability to thrive in a dynamic and ever-changing environment.
- Bilingual (English-French) is an asset.
