**Responsibilities**:
- We are looking for a highly motivated, enthusiastic team player to join our team as a Regional Sales Manager. The Regional Sales Manager will support and guide their leadership team while creating an organizational environment that stimulates morale, creativity, growth and productivity.
Manage a team of sales professionals and oversee their training, performance, and standard of job performance.
Define skills and manage Key Account Managers’ and Inside Sales personal growth within TENAQUIP and foster innovation in sales approaches and practices.
Deliver a consistent direction that is aligned with TENAQUIP’s corporate goals and direction to his/her direct reports.
Attain budgeted revenue expectations for the sales department set by the Director of Sales.
Provide leadership to the sales team in the achievement of individual and team goals.
Encourage sales team through empowerment, reward and recognition, delegation, and the creation of a positive work environment.
Assist in the development of annual sales forecasts and to achieve agreed upon sales growth goals within the defined geographical area.
Conduct joint call activity with the Key Account management team for both coaching purposes and sales completion where necessary.
Assist the corporate account team where required to qualify, secure, and maintain corporate accounts in the RSM’s geographic area.
Help plan and schedule customer seminars and/or other sales support activities necessary to drive sales growth.
Provide necessary reporting on a timely and regular basis.
**Qualifications**:
University or College business degree an asset.
CPSA designation or Sales Methodology training an asset
Excellent communication skills - written, verbal and presentation in English.
Minimum of 5 years’ experience managing a sales team, preferably from the MRO Industrial Distribution background.
Demonstrated successful skills in coaching and developing next-generation sales leaders.
Advanced ability to attain goals and objectives through delegating and managing teams.
Proven success in sales and business development.
Possess a valid driver’s license.
