**Job Summary**:
The Supply Chain Assistant is responsible for liaising with suppliers and internal teams, conducting stock checks, ensuring timely supply of materials, troubleshooting supplier issues, and maintaining inventory accuracy both on the shop floor and in the office, all while adhering to Epsilon's standards and working efficiently under pressure to meet deadlines.
Job Duties & Responsibilities
- Procure products from suppliers to fulfill project and Inventory related requirements.
- Perform stock checks physically and using ERP.
- Work on the shop floor and office
- Ensure materials being purchased meet Epsilon Requirements.
- Supply materials on time to meet production schedules and deadlines.
- Troubleshoot and resolve supplier issues relating to supply of products.
- Work as an active team member to ensure inventory accuracies.
- Work under pressure, have attention to detail, expect repetitive tasks, experience tight deadlines
**Job Qualifications**:
- Supply chain experience that includes experience in the following areas: ERP and/or inventory control; warehouse, shipping, and logistics; and customer service.
- Demonstrated knowledge of inventory control practices and equipment operating principles and procedures
- Demonstrated interpersonal, communication (oral and written), organizational and problem-solving skills.
- Demonstrated proficiency in MS Word, Excel, Outlook, Teams
- Demonstrated ability to attend work on a regular basis.
- Ability to meet the physical and sensory demands of the position.

**Contacts**:
- Internal shop staff, engineering, suppliers, contractors to exchange information, answer questions and problem solve.

- Occasional light lifting or movement of components or materials
- Regular vision/sensory demands: close, distance, peripheral, depth, and ability to adjust focus.
**Working Conditions**:
- Occasional exposure to moderate noise levels when out in the plant environment
