Procurement Specialist

Kingston, Canada ANCHOR CONCRETE PRODUCTS LIMITED Full time

This position is responsible for procurement, sourcing, materials management and inventory control.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Support staff in the developing, implementing, and evaluating all supply chain management processes in support of customer needs and fulfilling business objectives
- Develop and implement the necessary policies and procedures
- Establish a partnership framework through contract management and vendor selection
- Develop and implement key performance indicators (KPI’s)
- Negotiate with vendors for goods and services ensuring best outcomes to meet business goals
- Work with third-party service providers to be cost competitive and deliver on time
- Work closely with the Accounting Department to ensure alignment with the accounts payables function
- Other duties as assigned

**Education and Experience**

University degree or college diploma in a discipline involving infrastructure or manufacturing, business administration, commerce, or economics

Five years’ experience in procurement

Experience in a manufacturing environment is an asset

**Skills**

Knowledge of supply chain, including total delivery cost, profitability, inventory turns and service levels

Problem-solving skills

Negotiation skills

Analytical skills
