Accounts Officer Assistant

**Duties**:
- Entering Account Payables: Accurately input and process accounts payable transactions while ensuring correct coding
- Invoice Discrepancy Resolution: Investigate and resolve invoice discrepancies by contacting suppliers and stakeholders as needed
- Credit Card Reconciliations: Assist in reconciling credit card statements and ensure accuracy in the records
- Monthly Billing Assistance: Support the Account Officer in preparing and processing monthly billings
- Billing Issue Resolution: Proactively address billing issues and generate credit notes when necessary
- Collections Support: Aid in the collection process for outstanding accounts by communicating with clients as necessary
- Month-End and Year-End Tasks: Contribute to month-end and year-end financial tasks, ensuring the timely completion of financial reporting
- Document Management: Take responsibility for the organization, filing, and sorting of financial documents to maintain an organized and efficient filing system
- Other Accounting Duties: Perform additional accounting duties as required by the finance team.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent; Associate degree or relevant accounting coursework preferred
- Prior experience in an accounting or finance role is a plus.
- Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team and meet deadlines
- Basic understanding of accounting principles
- English Essential - Bilingualism is an asset
**Salary**: $55,000.00 per year
