About Lincoln Electric

**Major Responsibilities**:

- Manage the traffic department (3 direct reports) as well as develop new strategies to streamline processes and reduce costs.
- Manage and Optimize the Logistics and Warehousing platform at Lincoln Canada (2 Direct Reports and 11 Material Handlers in Toronto and Calgary) for all material handling, warehousing and shipments of product across Canada.
- Supervise, coach and train warehouse workforce; Meet cost, productivity, accuracy and timeliness targets
- Evaluate and report on KPIs
- Work with each department/entity in Lincoln Canada to help with their freight requirements.
- Interact with the Customs Brokers to negotiate pricing and resolve any customs issues.
- Work with the Accounting department to create and manage budgets.
- Collaborate with Lincoln Cleveland Logistics and Customs departments when necessary.
- To participate co-operatively as an employee within the company Performance appraisal process and merit rating system.
- To actively participate in company, staff or individual one on one meetings on an ongoing basis for the purposes of effective teamwork, enhanced communication and progressive co-operation strategies within the department as well as other departments across the country.
- To continually contribute to the profitability of the company and ongoing business operations by initiating, recommending and implementing continuous improvement strategies and initiatives.
- To fully abide and actively support Lincoln Electric’s Environmental Health and Safety policies, practices and procedures with respect to protecting the environment, the conservation of nature resources and the Health & Safety of all employees.
- To conduct any general duties, import/export business, specific projects and responsibilities as assigned or required by the Director of Logistics/Distribution and/or his/her designate in a timely and professional manner.

**What are we looking for?**

Minimum Education Requirement:

- Logistics training an asset
- University Degree

Minimum Experience & Training Requirement:

- 10 years of Customs and logistics experience in an Industrial Setting
- Export experience an asset
- Excellent Excel skills an asset
