**QUALIFICATIONS**
- Post-secondary education in related fields and/or 2-3 years’ experience in a similar administration or support role.
- Strong communication skills (both verbal and written) including professional and cheerful phone etiquette;
- Excellent interpersonal skills including the ability to interact with a variety of people in a courteous and tactful manner, in person and on the phone/virtually;
- Demonstrated customer service orientation with a positive, “can do” attitude;
- The ability to work both independently and within a diverse team;
- Organized and detail-oriented;
- Ability to maintain calm and professional manner under difficult scenarios;
- Demonstrated capacity for sound judgment and effective problem-solving;
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, including Outlook and Excel; knowledge of / ability to learn Raiser’s Edge or other customer relations databases (AKA Raisin, Cornerstone);
- First Aid Certification an asset; and
- Ability to communicate effectively in English and French is an asset.

**RESPONSIBILITIES**
- Take donation calls from existing, new and prospective donors, assist with the update of donor records, and send acknowledgement cards as required (in memory or in honour cards)
- Handle requests for duplicate tax receipts, performs database searches for donor information and ensures that tax receipts are issued on a timely basis;
- Follow up and update donor’s whose credit card information on file will be expiring;
- Distribute incoming mail and arrange for outgoing mail and Courier services;
- Liaise with Canada Post, couriers, office supplies vendors;
- Handle requests for stationary, and the inventory and purchase of office and kitchen supplies;
- Maintain office equipment (i.e. printers/photocopiers, fax, postage meter) and coordinate service maintenance updates and repairs;
- Coordinate couriering/shredding activities as required;
- Act as one of the Fire Wardens for the office; and
- Other duties as assigned by the Manager, Office Services and Administration.
