Burlington, Canada Little Leaders Full time

Little Leaders is seeking a supervisor/office manager who is skilled and competent at co-running our head office. Most of the supervisor's duties will be performed in-office (Burlington at Mainway & Walkers line), with self-scheduled drop-ins to our home child care locations across Halton Region.

**Responsibilities**:

- Manages all accounts and child care families
- Arranges interviews for potential clients/families
- Communicates with parents and deals with questions or issues that arise
- Respects confidentiality and relates to parents, children and home child care providers in a professional and ethical manner
- Responsible for updating policies and procedures required by the Ministry of Education
- Updates and trains child care providers on policies and procedures
- Monitors child care providers providers to ensure proper forms are being completed and records are complete
- Inputs attendance on a monthly basis using OCCMS software.
- Prepares invoices for parents and maintains accounts
- Responsible for the review and documentation of staff behaviour management, according to the policies and Ministry requirements
- Updates schedules and timetables regularly
- Arranges for replacement care as needed
- Monitors children’s attendance records, enrolment, emergency information, contracts, and collects medication information from parents.
- Participates in annual health and safety inspection; refers health and safety concerns and makes recommendations for change
- Conducts performance reviews
- Attends and organizes company-wide meetings

We are looking to hire as soon as possible with casual training until a start date sometime between March - June 2023.

Starting salary for this position would be $60,000 with room for growth.
In-office hours, and weekly hours worked will be negotiated on an individual basis.

Qualifications Required:

- Early Childhood Education Diploma or degree (preferred)
- Strong Supervisor skills with 3 years’ related experience
- Possess extensive experience with administrative duties and reporting
- Registered member in good standing with the College of Early Childhood Education
- Knowledge of Child Care and Early Years Act and licensing and legislative compliance
- Experience working with infant to junior children
- Solid understanding of child development
- Demonstrates ability to maintain an effective work relationship with families, colleagues, service providers, and regulatory program advisors
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Exceptional interpersonal skills
- Proven ability to work closely with other team members
- Vehicle to drive to home child care sites

**Salary**: From $60,000.00 per year

Schedule:

- Monday to Friday

Supplemental pay types:

- Bonus pay
- Overtime pay

- Burlington, ON: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)
