Duties and responsibilities:

- Human Resources and Payroll administration: Responsible for providing day to day HR tracking and payroll support in a broad range and variety of areas; employee changes, new hires and terminations
- Onboard staff with appropriate documentation
- Maintain records of employee-related data and ensure all employment requirements are met
- Process bi-weekly payroll, keep track of employee timesheets, review and reconcile discrepancies, ensure data is accurate and properly recorded into Ceridian
- Log and record employee hours, vacation days, sick days, and time off
- Manage and record vacation/sick request approvals
- Arrange employee travel, if necessary
- Respond to internal and external HR related inquiries or requests and provide assistance
- Research salary and hourly rates within the industry
- Generate employee notices and memorandums
- Support, advise, and enforce company policies
- Frequent communication with corporate office
- Support other functions as assigned

Required Education, Skills and Qualifications
- 2-3 years of related HR and payroll administrative work experience
- Post-secondary education in Human Resources or related program
- Highly organized and detail-oriented
- Experience using Ceridian or related payroll software is an asset
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Excellent skills in MS Office (Word, Excel)
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and use discretion when dealing with sensitive information
- Self-motivated with a strong desire for continuous improvement

**Salary**: $45,000.00-$60,000.00 per year

- 8 hour shift
- Monday to Friday

Ability to commute/relocate:

- Vancouver, BC V6J 3H1: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)

**Education**:

- Bachelor's Degree (required)

- Human resources: 2 years (required)
- Payroll: 1 year (required)

**Language**:

- English (required)
