What you will do:
In this role, you will be leading the comprehensive management of pricing strategies for all Sustain product lines, including Hybrid Heat Pumps, EV Charging, Solar Panels, and Geothermal Solutions. Your responsibilities encompass the establishment of core rack rate pricing, alongside the development and management of promotional pricing strategies. Additionally, you will be responsible for overseeing Competitive Intelligence analysis to ensure that Sustain's offerings are aligned with current market prices. Here are more details about expected responsibilities for this managerial role:
- Define rack rate pricing for all sustain core products (both one time purchases and rental fees).- Work with Finance and other partners to evaluate financial impact of proposed pricing structure and have them approved through Governance process.- Work with Marketing, Sales and Product Ops on accurate pricing based on product advantages, value proposition, sales feedback and competitive landscape.- Define a segmented framework (aka Residential vs Commercial) for competitive analysis of each product that Sustain offers.- Making sure competitive analysis updates get shared periodically across partners.- Investigate alerts when new promotional activities are observed within competition.- Propose competitive respond to any competitive threads in market.- Leverage competitive intelligence input and define promotional tactics to boost sales volume when required.- Work with Product Ops team to fill out product catalogues in order to launch defined pricing (rack rates or promotional activities).

Who you are:
Required:
- Bachelor Degree in Business, Finance, Economics, mathematics, statistics or related fields.- 8+ years related experience.- Ability to analyze market trends, cost data, and profitability analyses to set pricing strategies.- Knowledge of the sustainable energy sector, including regulatory impacts, market dynamics, and customer demand.- Strong understanding of financial modeling, cost accounting, and the impact of pricing strategies on the company's bottom line.- Ability to communicate complex pricing strategies and financial information effectively to partners across the company.- Capacity to address and resolve sophisticated pricing issues in a dynamic market environment.- Experience in leading a team, managing projects, and influencing cross-functional teams.- Proven track record of conducting market research and competitive analysis to advise pricing strategies.- Experience in strategic planning and implementation of pricing strategies that align with company goals and market opportunities.

Preferred:
- An MBA or a master's degree in a related field can be preferred, as it demonstrates advanced knowledge and analytical skills.- Proficiency with pricing software, data analysis tools (e.g., Excel, R, Python), and ERP.- Experience in negotiating contracts and agreements with suppliers, partners, and customers.- 10 years of experience in pricing, financial analysis, or a related field within the energy sector or a related industry. Experience in sustainable energy solutions is highly desirable.- Understanding the cost structures of sustainable technologies, government incentives, and the competitive landscape.
