**Job Summary**

The Freight Forwarding Pricing Coordinator is a vital member of the team, supporting the development, execution, and maintenance of the company's pricing strategy. This role plays a key role in ensuring accurate and competitive quotes are provided to customers.

**Job Duties**
- Gather and analyze pricing information: Research and collect data on market rates, competitor pricing, fuel costs, and other factors impacting freight forwarding costs (air, ocean, land).
- Prepare and maintain rate sheets: Update and maintain internal databases and rate sheets with accurate pricing information for various routes, services, and shipment types.
- Assist with quoting freight shipments: Work closely with sales representatives to gather customer requirements, access relevant rates, and calculate estimated costs for freight forwarding services.
- Negotiate basic pricing with carriers: Secure pre-negotiated rates from carriers or negotiate on less complex shipments.
- Issue quotations to customers: Prepare and issue clear and accurate quotes to customers, outlining service options, pricing details, and estimated delivery timelines.
- Monitor and update pricing data: Stay informed of market fluctuations and update internal systems with the latest pricing information.
- Provide administrative support to the sales team and Team Manager: Assist the sales team and Team Manager with various tasks such as data entry, report generation, and maintaining pricing tools.

**Job Requirements**
- Minimum 1-2 years of experience in freight forwarding or a related logistics field (preferred)
- Strong understanding of basic freight forwarding terminology and processes
- Excellent analytical and organizational skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel)
- Ability to work independently and accurately
- Strong attention to detail
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Experience with freight forwarding pricing software
- Working knowledge of Incoterms
- Proficiency in a second language (especially for import/export businesses)
