**Position Summary**:
We are looking for a **Manager, Marketing Intelligence and Strategy** based at our** North York l**ocation reporting into the **Senior Manager, Marketing Intelligence and Strategy**. Marketing Intelligence and Strategy puts the consumer and shopper at the heart of the business, enabling the business team to make strong decisions and build strategies that enable sustainable growth. Our superpower is to simplify the complex by turning data and insight into actionable intelligence that is informed, unbiased, and future forward. This position is accountable for developing the analytic vision and data strategy for the Division and using advanced analyses to drive decisions and plans that will result in greater consumer and shopper engagement for the business. This position is also the key lead to build strategic thinking with data capability in the Marketing team.

Marketing Intelligence and Strategy Managers lead work in 4 key areas: 1) Category, Brand and Marketplace data integration and advanced analytics aimed at providing superior data analytics and story-telling to the business, 2) Building tools and systems that deliver business intelligence to Marketing, Sales and Executive Leaders, 3) Partnering with Marketing to drive strategies and actions based on current/future performance of the business and marketplace, and 4) Building the capability of the full Marketing team to use data for enhanced strategic thinking and decision making. Marketing Intelligence and Strategy Managers integrate and connect the dots across a wide variety of data sources, including Nielsen, Numerator, Ipsos, Shopper Intelligence, Retailer Loyalty data, Market Mix Models (MMMs), Internal data, and other Quantitative sources.

**A day in the life of a Manager, Marketing Intelligence and Strategy**:
You will play a lead role in designing the short and long-term strategic and analytic plan for the division. You will proactively work with Marketing to identify the biggest issues and questions on the business. You will utilize advanced analytics to develop a POV on what is driving the performance of the business and work with marketing to build category and brand strategies. You will also work with the Marketers to elevate their business acumen abilities to think about and use data sources, while being the expert on maintaining those sources and ensuring data integrity.

You will also:

- Contribute to the development of annual business and customer plans
- Lead KPI measurement and “how to win” actions (category, brand, innovation score-carding)
- Lead the development and maintenance of fact-based tools and reports from initial concept to testing, launch and final implementation
- Use advanced analytical and technical expertise to enable reports and tools addressing key business issues for ongoing and ad hoc requirements. Design, test, and leverage new digital technologies and tools to ensure Nestle is on the leading edge of using advanced analytics to drive business growth.
