**PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES**:

- Complete filing and paperwork
- Perform data entry in the Homeless Individuals and Families Information System (HIFIS) for Shelter and other VAFCS programs
- Scan and file necessary paperwork for electronic storage
- Monitor and order office supplies, equipment, PPE, and cleaning supplies including maintaining supplies lists
- Other duties as required

**QUALIFICATIONS**:

- Experience working in a clerical role
- Experience working in a Shelter environment an asset
- Ability to demonstrate resilience, flexibility, an open minded approach, maintain confidentiality, and maintain a professional attitude
- Works cooperatively, respectively and in consultation with the VAFCS management team in all matters associated with the Centre
- Demonstrated willingness to adjust practices based on feedback from colleagues and managers
- Strong computer skills using Microsoft 365
- Provide a Criminal Record Check
- Effective written and verbal communication and conflict resolution skills
- Demonstrated organizational and time management skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Knowledge of DTES Urban Aboriginal Organizations and programs
- Knowledge of what the Vancouver Aboriginal Friendship Centre Society offers to community and its members

**Job Types**: Part-time, Fixed term contract
Contract length: 3 months
Part-time hours: 20 per week

**Salary**: $22.00 per hour

- Monday to Friday
- Morning shift
- No weekends

Ability to commute/relocate:
