**Community Support Coordinator**

**Terms of Employment**:Monday - Friday 9am-5pm (as well as an on-call rotation)
**Location**:Lethbridge office

**Hourly wage**:$25.19 per hour, 7.5-hour days, 37.5-hour weeks.
**Commitment**:Minimum 1 year required.

This position is responsible for:

- Ensuring client support requirements are met and programs are managed in accordance with agency policy and procedures
- Supervision of assigned residential, non-residential and support home programs including staff management (orientations, scheduling, evaluation)
- Maintaining acceptable standards and procedures for risk management including identification, mitigation and ongoing evaluation of risks
- Scheduling and conducting regular staff meeting for all programs you supervise
- Providing direct client care as it applies to basic personal well-being
- Facilitating, supporting and enabling client’s general skill development, advocating on behalf of client to provide a broader range of development options and opportunities within community.
- Communicating appropriately with clients, families, guardians, staff and community representatives.
- Ensuring documentation is completed and established timelines are met for the same, in accordance with agency policies and procedures
- Responsible for development of client’s personal budgets and accountable for expenditures of the same
- ECAT (on call) duties as scheduled
- Other duties as assigned

**Requirements**:

- Post-secondary education in rehabilitation or related field required
- Experience working with people with disabilities required
- Supervisory experience preferred
- Advanced time management, organizational and effective interpersonal skills required
- Able to work independently as well as be a team player required
- Must have a vehicle, valid driver’s license and 3rd party $2M Liability Insurance
- Clear Criminal Record Check with Vulnerable Sector search (required prior to hire, dated within 6 months).
- Able to handle stressful situations proactively, accept change and work in a fast-paced environment
- Computer skills required
