**Program Coordinator - Customized Groups, Summer Program**

We are seeking an energetic and enthusiastic Program Coordinator - Customized Groups for our Summer Camps program. Under the direction of the Director of External Programs, the Program Coordinator delivers English Language Learner (ELL) programs and organizes cultural activities for international school groups. The Program Coordinator is responsible for ensuring that all aspects of the school program are well organized and run seamlessly, providing ELL program support, pre-arrival preparation, student orientation, coordinating transportation and planning on and off-campus activities.

**Work Schedule**:
June 26, 2024: required orientation session.

Program Preparation: July 2 to July 19, 2024: 10-20 hours per week.

Group Program: July 22 to August 17, 2024: 40 hours per week.

Program hours are Monday to Friday, with some weekends possible.

**Responsibilities include**:

- Supervises and supports ELL instructors and works as substitute instructor if needed.
- Prepares and leads the welcoming orientation and closing ceremonies.
- Assists instructors in setting up special events; meets with instructors daily in order to determine any special requirements; purchases supplies as necessary.
- Prepares class lists, student reports, completion certificates.
- Confirms bookings for activities that have been made in advance, and plans and organizes those that have not, in consultation with the Director of External Programs.
- Ensures all transportation is booked for off campus activities.
- Communicates with the Homestay Coordinator, and host families as necessary (ie: field trips, schedules, and other important information).
- Schedules and supervises Student Ambassadors.
- Complete incident and accident reports as needed.
- Takes photos and uploads them to file sharing site.

**Experience and Qualifications**:

- Completed or enrolled in relevant post-secondary education such as Recreation or Education.
- Minimum of 1 year of related experience in program development and delivery.
- Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills and the ability to communicate effectively, both orally and written, with internal and external customers.
- Ability to be tactful, demonstrate excellent judgment, and work as a positive and collaborative team member.
- Enthusiastic, energetic, a self-starter and the ability to work independently.
- Organized with the ability to work under deadlines with conflicting demands.
- Experience using Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint.
- Valid First Aid certificate.

**Pay Range**:
Hourly pay range: $24.69 - $29.05.

**Criminal Record Check**:
Must pass and maintain a clear Solicitor General criminal record check for the purpose of working with children.
