We are looking for a detail-oriented and highly organized individual to fill the role of Payroll Coordinator. The Payroll Coordinator will be responsible for managing all aspects of payroll processing for our employees, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and timeliness in payroll operations. This is a hybrid position, offering flexibility with the opportunity to work with a diverse and talented team.

**Make a Difference**
- Process semi-monthly payroll for employees across Canada (Alberta, Saskatchewan, British Columbia) accurately and on time, including salary and hourly payments, overtime, deductions, and bonuses.
- Verify all timekeeping records to ensures compliance with company policies and applicable regulations.
- Calculate and process payroll adjustments, such as overtime, leaves of absence, and other payroll-related changes.
- Respond to employee inquiries regarding payroll matters promptly and professionally.
- Process all employee terminations ensuring completion of final pay, vacation pay entitlements and ROE's are satisfied.
- Manage Group RRSP payment and contributions, including benefit account monitoring and reconciliation.
- Prepare annual T4’s.
- Remit source deductions and conduct reconciliation
- Collaborate with the HR department to ensure accurate employee data management and resolve any discrepancies.
- Prepare payroll reports, reconciles payroll accounts, and assists with year-end payroll processes.
- Stay current with changes in payroll regulations and compliance requirements, including various CRA communications as necessary.

**Utilize your Education and Expertise**
- Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
- Preferred Certified Payroll Compliance Practitioner (PCP) designation or equivalent certification.
- Minimum of 4 years of experience in payroll processing or related roles.
- Thorough understanding of CRA regulations and employment standards.
- Proficient in payroll software.
- Exceptional attention to detail with a commitment to maintaining confidentiality.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Demonstrated ability to work independently and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment.

**Salary**: $65,000.00-$70,000.00 per year

**Experience**:

- Payroll: 3 years (preferred)
- Office Administration: 2 years (preferred)

Licence/Certification:
