**Job Description**:
Job Summary

This job resides in Microchip’s Communications Business Unit (CBU) which provides semiconductor-based solutions for the telecommunications, data center and industrial markets. CBU is a large and growing organization within Microchip, spanning many worldwide sites. This job will reside in the Burnaby (Vancouver) site office. The position reports to the business unit Vice President.

**Job Description**:
As CBU’s Executive Administrative Assistant, you will enable efficient and effective business operations by supporting staff executives & leaders. As an Executive Administrative Assistant, you will:
- Provide support to the business unit executive leadership team and the global leadership team- Interface with other Microchip executive admins to plan and confirm executive meetings- Maintain multiple Outlook calendars- Arrange Travel (flights, hotels, rental cars, etc.) and process expense reports- Collect and provide content for group presentations used in general meetings (e.g. pictures from local site activities)- Coordinate and schedule on-site and off-site meetings, events, and employee activities- Organize internal or external catering to support meetings/events- Manage logistics for on-site customer visits- Participate on the Social Events Committee- Work closely with the site facilities team to support business operations- Order office supplies and computer supplies- Manage document flow: Initiate and track documents to ensure that they are processed in a timely manner (e.g. business agreements requiring executive signature)- Participate in leadership staff meetings, take meeting minutes and actions- Work with BU leadership team on general productivity, offloading tasks as needed, improving filing/organizing systems, ordering business cards, etc.- Performs other duties and special projects as needed

Requirements/Qualifications:
- 5+ years of experience as an Executive Administrative Assistant, ideally in the technology sector (experience in the semiconductor industry is highly desirable)- Experience working with executive leadership- Demonstrates a high level of professionalism and discretion in dealing with and managing confidential, sensitive, privileged and personal matters- Ability to work in a time sensitive and results oriented manner- Detail-oriented, organized, acute attention to details and excellent at follow-through, and able to multi-task- Demonstrates excellent written and oral communication skills- Demonstrates strong ownership and proactive problem anticipation and resolution- Strong ownership and proactive problem anticipation and resolution- Have the flexibility to adapt their style to engage positively with the executives and extended team- Work effectively with mínimal supervision and be comfortable self-directing, managing and organizing their own workflow, using independent thought and action- Demonstrates versatility, flexibility, and a willingness to work within constantly changing priorities with enthusiasm.- Proficiency in current business productivity tools, e.g. MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, OneDrive, Sharepoint, WebEx, MS Teams, etc.- Must be able to learn and master job-specific web-based databases and business systems (e.g. NDA database)- Demonstrates excellent interpersonal skills in a professional environment- This is onsite, in-person role
