**Job Title**

Recruitment Officer.

**Job Summary**

Reporting to the Director of Operations, the Recruitment Officer shall be responsible for full cycle recruitment of Drivers, Admin and Operational Employees. The incumbent will also oversee various Human Resources and office administration tasks for the Calgary and Edmonton teams.

- Expert knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite and applicant tracking systems.

**Education and Experience Requirements**
- Minimum of 3 years previous experience in Human Resources.
- Minimum of 2 years previous recruitment experience in a high-volume environment with a preference for experience in Transportation and Logistics.
- Post-secondary education in Human Resources, Business Administration or a Related field.
- Experience developing and executing effective recruitment strategies to attract top talent.

**Duties and Responsibilities**
- Under the guidance of senior leadership, assist in identifying current and prospective staffing requirements.
- Develop and execute recruitment strategies to attract top talent for various positions within the transportation and logistics industry, including Long Haul Class 1 Drivers, local 5 Ton Drivers, Dispatchers, Operations, and Office roles.
- Utilize various recruitment channels and techniques to source and attract top talent.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to develop job descriptions, salary ranges, and interview criteria.
- Complete various employment checks, such as verifying Commercial Driving Abstracts and reference checks.
- Advise job applicants on employment requirements and terms and conditions of employment.
- Advise hiring managers on Company best practices for determining the pay rate using employment equity techniques.
- In conjunction with internal stakeholders, coordinate onboarding and training plans for new hires, and ensure HR record management is completed in compliance with relevant legislative and Company policy.
- Complete and coordinate onboarding processes with internal and external partners.
- Stay up-to-date with current market trends and adjust recruitment strategies accordingly.
- Assist in the creation and maintenance of Frozen Solid Ltd.’s employer brand and recruitment marketing materials.
- Work with internal stakeholders to ensure compliance with internal hiring processes.
- Advise internal stakeholders and employees on staffing policies and procedures.
- Oversee established HR processes pertaining to employee recognition and engagement.

**Salary and Benefits**

The pay rate for this position is $25.48 - $29.30/hour with two weeks’ Vacation and an Employee Health Benefit Plan
