Briere Transportation Ltd. is looking to add a Results Orientated Fleet Operations Manager to join our team.

This position will Lead and Manage our CDN and USA fleet divisions. You will lead by using added value principles to develop and build relationships that are focused on Sales, Customer Service, Safety, Quality and On Time Delivery.

This position has strategic responsibilities that has impact across the enterprise including Financial Performance Accountability, fleet safety, operational efficiencies, risk management, and executing to defined KPI’s.

Position has reporting responsibilities to the company controller and president.

Key Responsibilities:

- Establish, maintain and be accountable for fleet performance KPI’s
- Assist with sales growth through the development of new lane segments, marketing and customer support strategies
- Maximize Daily and Weekly Load Planning through HOS Utilization
- Support dispatch operation and provide coverage when needed
- Manage and drive weekly operations meeting
- Participates in and demonstrates an understanding of safety principles and practices; follows all safety policies and procedures to support a safe working environment including safe operation of machines and equipment.
- Oversees the recruitment and hiring processes.
- Onboard, Train and coach direct reports new team members
- Fleet asset lease management including sourcing new or replacement equipment
- Design and manage fuel programs
- Lead and advance Fleet Safety Programs including a minimum of 2 annual driver safety programs
- Manage drug testing program for DOT compliance.
- Working knowledge and adheres with all DOT Canada & USA rules and regulations.
- Conducts themselves accordingly, as an ambassador of BTL and our company values.
- Other assigned tasks and responsibilities as required.

**Qualifications**:

- Logistics Diploma CITT, CCLP (Desirable)
- Min 3 years experience Managing a Fleet of highway tractors
- Minimum three years with CND/USA cross border experience.
- Tailwind Fleet TMS, GEOTAB, LoadLink, DAT software
- Managing Departmental Key Performance Indicators
- Digital Analysis
- Business Management
- Financial Comprehension
- Familiarity with security
- Familiarity with IT
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Pay: $70,000.00-$90,000.00 per year
