**The Position**

As the Fish Creek West Concierge, you will have the opportunity to showcase your strong passion and devotion to providing the highest level of customer service in a personalized and refined manner. You will be the first to interact with both our residents and guests, guiding their experience with United Active Living through your friendliness, commitment and efficiency.

**Duties and Responsibilities**

Reporting to Executive Director of Operations, responsibilities and essential job functions include but are not limited to the following:
**Resident Relations**
- Consistently offer professional, friendly and engaging service to our residents, as well as providing exceptional first impressions and assistance to guests;
- Develop and maintain personalized resident and guest relationships.
- Act as a liaison between residents and other departments including the food services, housekeeping and building operations.
- Address resident and guest concerns, assuring prompt action is taken in a professional manner.
- Problem solve and find solutions for issues that may arise; work with the applicable departments to resolve; and track the issues to determine trends.
- Assist residents with personal services (for example, booking taxis, grocery orders, restaurant reservations, recommendations, dry cleaning services, accepting parcels, etc.).
- Make appointment bookings for service providers operating through United Active Living communities (massage, foot doctor, spa appointments, shuttle service, etc.) and communicate the booking to the appropriate service providers.
- Manage the booking of the Fish Creek West Common Area room and assist with set
- up and cleaning as required.
- Assist residents with dining reservations and group or special occasions dining needs.
- Facilitate and create innovative Fish Creek West specific programming.
- Follow all safety policies.
- Other duties as assigned.

**Operational Support**
- Installation and set up of cable boxes and the porting of phones.
- Resident minor IT and technical support with tv remotes, smart phones, etc.
- Work closely with the receptionist in the North building on processes, bookings, etc.
- Implement and execute applicable screening protocols.
- General administrative support as required.

**Resident Experience**

As a strategic, customer focused thinker you will work to:

- Support the implementation of resident experience and brand standards across all key touchpoints in UAL communities.
- Utlize resident feedback to support the development of a more engaging resident experience;
- Support marketing with monitoring and evaluating the success of the customer experience plan;
- Support the development of a culture that consistently delivers exceptional resident experience
- Ensure community standards are implemented and maintained in the West building

**Qualifications**
- 3-5 years of high-level customer service experience, preferably in the hospitality industry.
- Some experience in marketing is an asset.
- Highly developed interpersonal, organizational and problem-solving skills.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Must possess a positive attitude, professional presentation and be willing to work as part of a team.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and to use discretion when dealing with residents, guests and colleagues.
- Ability to adjust to continually shifting priorities.
- Must be able to flex work hours depending on the needs of the community.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

- AEC / DEP or Skilled Trade Certificate (preferred)
