As part of the Human Potential team, the HR Coordinator will execute a variety of HR related matters, such as maintaining records, utilizing HR system workflows to prepare employee letters issue forms, and track administrative details. The HR Coordinator will support the HR Operations team with recruitment and onboarding activities, and assist with administrative activities to ensure the overall employment lifecycle operates smoothly.

RESPONSIBILITIES
- Support the recruitment function of the HR Operations team and assist with the administration of full cycle recruitment needs, including posting jobs, scheduling interviews, performing reference checks, etc.
- Assist with the planning and execution of hiring fairs
- Support new hires in navigating the onboarding process and UKG system
- Attend STEP Right In (SRI) on Monday mornings to greet new professionals to STEP, gathering any outstanding new hire paperwork and ensuring these records are maintained electronically
- Support the HR department in the organization and accuracy of electronic records storage, ensuring proper records and retention processes
- Provide administrative support to the HR Operations team with processing new hire, promotion, and reclassification workflows and records as needed, ensuring proper documentation and approvals are in order, preparing letters and retaining relevant documentation
- Assist with overall HR systems administration support as needed
- Maintain and administer various onboarding activities in partnership with key stakeholders
- Conduct tracking of various HR practices and processes
- Respond to HR related inquiries from professionals and redirect them to the appropriate person as required
- Accountable for ad-hoc HR projects and assisting in the administration and coordination of other people programs or initiatives
- Other tasks as directed by the Manager of HR Operations

QUALIFICATIONS
- 2-3 years of experience in a similar position, preferably in a related industry
- Post-secondary education (certificate/diploma) in HR or a related discipline or equivalently weighted years of experience
- Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite including MS Word, MS Excel and MS Outlook
- CPHR designation or working towards would be considered an asset
- Experience with HR UKG system would be considered an asset
