Join our dedicated team at I Have a Chance Support Services Ltd. As a Scheduling Coordinator. We are seeking a skilled communicator with an eye for detail and a knack for scheduling. We strive to support and encourage people on the route to independence. Work directly with the indigenous Inuit population and experience their culture and stories while making difference in their lives.
**Job Types**: Part-time
**Salary**: $23-$25 Hour
Hours
- Starts from Friday 5pm-11pm, Saturday/Sunday/STAT Holidays - 6am-9am and 8pm-11pm
Total Hours: 12 hours per week

Role Summary:
As a Scheduling Coordinator, you will play a crucial role in ensuring effective allocation of employee resources within our Support Homes and IHACSS programs. Your responsibilities will include:
- Overseeing all Support Home schedules and allocates employee resources based on contracted needs.
- Managing vacation, PTO, and unpaid time off as per IHACSS policy.
- Collaborating with Support Home Supervisors to ensure adequate employee coverage.
- Completing monthly reporting the COO and CFO.
- Maintaining positive public relations and creating a respectful work environment.
- Promoting personal growth and ongoing skill building among employees.

- Maintaining a work knowledge and procedures, Health and Safety Manual, and relevant legislation.
- Participating in conflict resolution and mediation processes as required.
Qualifications:
- 2 or more Years of related experience working with scheduling programs.
- Experience working in a unionized environment.
- Ability to manage challenging conversations and prioritize effectively.
- Demonstrated time management and able to meet tight deadlines.
- Work well under pressure and in an ever-changing environment.
- Working experience with Synerion system is an asset.
