Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Head Chef Coordinator to join our team at Original Joe's Restaurant & Bar.

The successful candidate will have a proven track record of managing kitchen operations, supervising staff, and maintaining high-quality food standards.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Supervise and co-ordinate activities of staff who prepare and portion food
  • Establish methods to meet work schedules
  • Train staff in job duties, sanitation and safety procedures
  • Estimate ingredient and supplies required for meal preparation
  • Hire food service staff
  • Ensure that food and service meet quality control standards
  • Prepare budget and cost estimates
  • Address customers' complaints or concerns
  • Maintain records of stock, repairs, sales and wastage
  • Prepare and submit reports
Requirements:
  • 1-2 years of experience in a similar role
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • Excellent leadership and communication skills
  • Able to work in a fast-paced environment
Salary and Benefits

Salary: $45,000 - $55,000 per year, depending on experience.

Benefits include health, dental, and vision insurance, as well as a generous vacation package.
