**Position**:
We are currently looking for enthusiastic and experienced kitchen staff for the following positions:
- **Sashimi Chef**:
- **Roll Chef**:
- **Cook**
We offer both **full-time** and **part-time** opportunities.
**Responsibilities**:
- **Sashimi Chef**: Prepare and plate sashimi dishes with precision and care.
- **Roll Chef**: Craft a variety of sushi rolls to high-quality standards.
- **Cook**: Assist with kitchen duties including hot food preparation, maintaining cleanliness, and ensuring food safety.
**Qualifications**:
- Previous experience in a similar role is preferred but not required.
- Ability to adapt and thrive in a fast-paced, English-speaking kitchen environment.
- Strong teamwork and communication skills.
**Compensation & Benefits**:
- Hourly wage is **based on experience**.

- **Statutory holiday pay** at **1.5x** the regular rate.
**Work Hours**:
- Flexible scheduling available. Shifts will be coordinated based on your availability and the restaurant's needs.

**Responsibilities**:
- Assist in food preparation and cooking under the guidance of the kitchen supervisor
- Support bartending activities as needed
- Maintain cleanliness and organization in the kitchen area
- Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient operations
- Uphold high standards of quality control and customer service
- Assist in supervising and training new kitchen staff when required
**Qualifications**:
- Previous experience in a restaurant or hospitality setting is preferred
- Knowledge of kitchen operations and food safety practices
- Strong teamwork and communication skills
- Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment
- Leadership qualities with the capability to assist in team management
- Willingness to learn and adapt to new tasks as needed
**Job Types**: Full-time, Part-time, Permanent, Fixed term contract, Casual, Seasonal
Pay: $18.50-$24.00 per hour
Expected hours: 30 - 40 per week
