What you will be doing:
Operations Management
- Learning and understanding the non-profit, social enterprise model in its entirety
- Managing all staff and volunteers, including Program Coordinators and Baristas, directing their attention to tasks required completing; overseeing the quality and effectiveness of their tasks
- Oversee all aspects of the community space, including overall presentation and cleanliness
- Managing or delegating internal and external event catering

Programming /Event Coordination
- Determine programming/event requirements to be run by YTGA and Studio.89 based on current needs
- Complete a schedule of programs for both internal and external events
- Oversee the staff during the creation, acquisition, and execution of programming
- Be present for programs to oversee the completion and complete workshop evaluation at the end of the workshop, obtain testimonials from participants
- Compile and utilize feedback to determine the next round of workshops seasonally, organize online focus groups for more defined analysis if required
- Maximizing community impact through a regimented execution process of programming and the management of programming staff

Social Media / Marketing
- Create and post social media posts consistently, using various creative design software, or delegating the duties thereof
- Oversee the distribution of the monthly newsletter
- Be present for large events to capture content for social media feeds and network with Studio.89 stakeholders

Volunteer Coordination
- Have volunteers complete and submit paperwork prior to shift start
- Ensure volunteers are knowledgeable of Studio.89 mission, vision, and values, provide excellent customer service, and gain necessary job skills
- Gain testimonials from volunteers and their experiences with us

General
- Attend networking events based on direction from the Board and liaison with stakeholders
- Administrative responsibilities such as filing, data entry as required
- Track Studio.89 equipment (projectors, cameras, etc) in ongoing document
- Ensure everyone is safe, hygienic, responsible and attentive in the kitchen
- Share responsibilities of program and events coordination, as well as administrative duties as required
- Maximize the potential of Studio.89 through fundraising, grant writing, and promoting Studio.89’s activities to visitors
- Other duties as may be assigned by the company

Hours
- This position requires you to work from the job site at 1 -2520 Eglinton Road AveW.
