What’s it like working as a Events Coordinator at Community Trust Company?
Reporting to the Manager, National Sales Support and Events, the Events Coordinator will be responsible for assisting in sourcing, planning, administrating, and executing regular industry and partner engagement events across Canada.

**In this role, responsibilities include but are not limited to**:

- Assist in planning and executing regular events across Canada, including speaking engagements, conferences, trade shows, tournaments, partner appreciation events and internal events.
- Execute event logistics, including coordination with vendors, facilities, rentals, shippers and internal stakeholders.
- Assist with event administration, including event calendar management, promotional item inventory, critical paths, budgeting and invoicing.
- Ensure staff and stakeholders are prepared and informed of all events with a clear understanding of timeline and responsibilities.
- Work independently to identify opportunities for new events, activations and promotions.
- Work with the marketing team to develop pre and post event engagement campaigns, social media and general marketing support.
- Provide on-site event support (set-up, tear-down, on-site social media coverage, additional tasks as required).
- Gather feedback and lessons learned after events and share successes and opportunities for improvement.
- Respond promptly to both internal and external requests from clients and partners.

So are YOU our next Events Coordinator? You are if you
- 1-2 years of experience in event creation, coordination and execution.
- Ability to travel to events across the GTA
- Must have valid driver’s license and regular access to a vehicle
- Proven high level of organizational and time management skills, using self-direction and sound judgment to coordinate multiple demands and deadlines.
- Confidence and professionalism while representing Community Trust to event attendees.
- Exceptional customer service and interpersonal skills in an event setting.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, Adobe InDesign, photography, and social media is an asset.

- Diploma or degree in event management or project management preferred.
