**About the opportunity**:
The Finance and Payroll Administrator plays a crucial role in the handling of the day-to-day activities of the Finance department. Reporting to the Finance Manager, the Finance and Payroll Administrator is responsible for executing weekly employee payroll and a wide range of accounting duties and functions executed in an effective manner to support the smooth operation of the finance department. Highly reliable, accurate and trustworthy, the individual exudes the highest standard of confidentiality and professionalism. The role will also provide human resources support in HR administration to the Executive Director.
**Key Responsibilities**:
- Process weekly payroll and related reports
Process and oversee financial transactions including accounts payable, accounts receivables, sales receipts, etc.
- Prepare invoices and provide monthly follow up and collections
- Input and reconcile daily and monthly receipts
- Prepare and reconcile WSIB remittances and CRA bi-monthly submissions
- Provide support to the Finance Manager in the preparation of financial reports
- Provide support to the Executive Director with human resources administrative functions
- Assist in budgeting, forecasting and year end activities
- Assist in audits as required
- Perform multiple bank reconciliations
- Communicate with client suppliers, vendors, government agencies, and banking contacts
- Maintain an orderly accounting filing system
- Participate in finance meetings as required
- Other duties as requested and/or assigned.
Pay: $43,742.59-$50,000.00 per year
