**The Opportunity**

Plannera is seeking a visionary Director of Strategy and Business Development to lead our strategic initiatives and drive business growth. This role is crucial in shaping our future, ensuring alignment with strategic goals, and optimizing our resources. Key responsibilities include:

- ** Strategic Leadership**: Develop and execute corporate strategies, collaborating with the CEO and Executive Team.
- ** Business Growth**: Identify and pursue new business opportunities, preparing business cases and managing projects.
- ** Performance and Risk Management**: Measure key performance indicators, monitor member outcome risks, and provide data-driven insights.
- ** Third-Party Management**: Oversee third-party experts, manage budgets, and ensure deliverables meet expectations.
- ** Innovation**: Research and develop new pension and benefit frameworks, assessing legislative impacts and industry trends.
- ** Team Leadership**: Build, develop, and lead a high-performing team.
- ** Actuarial Reporting**: Oversee the preparation and interpretation of actuarial reports to support decision-making.

- Lead and manage corporate strategy development and execution.

- Measure and monitor performance indicators and member outcome risks.

- Oversee the preparation, interpretation,and presentation of actuarial reports.

Typically, the knowledge and abilities required for this position will be attained by:

- Extensive experience in strategic planning, business development, and corporate governance.
- Strong background in pension legislation, risk management, and project management.
- Proven track record of building and leading high-performing teams.
- Advanced research and analytical skills to inform policy decisions.
- Exceptional budget management and reporting skills.
- Experience in vendor management and contract negotiation.
