SouthWest Fire Protection Ltd. is a growing (25+ employees) company specializing in large scale fire suppression systems. Our company prides itself on maintaining our customers with a positive and proactive attitude.

This is a full-time, in-office Term position Covering for a Maternity Leave.

Flexible start and end times, 8 hour/day, Mon to Fri between 7:00 - 5:00.

**Responsibilities**:
Provide administrative support to the Construction Manager to ensure efficient operation of the office. Including but not limited to:

- Document submittals
- Start up docs i.e. design request letter
- Communication with designer i.e. quotes, flow simulation if required, etc.
- Close out docs - O&M’s, As-builts, Final Letter, etc.
- Assemble Fitter package
- Track Project Lifecycle
- Set up job folders
- Safety document submittals, assist with safety / COR requirements

**Experience**:

- Proficient in MS Office (Word, Excel), a requirement
- Previous experience as an administrative assistant preferred
- Knowledge of construction industry an asset
- Knowledge of office systems and procedures an asset
- Excellent time management skills and ability to prioritize work
- Attention to detail and problem-solving skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to multi-task

**Job Types**: Full-time, Fixed term contract
Contract length: 12 months

Pay: From $18.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
